ITALIAN TASTE SUMMIT 2022 B2B at Palazzo Serbelloni
By Carol Agostini
Create relationships in the world of wine: this is the aim of 𝐈𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭, conceived by Joanna Miro, – economist, marketer, broker with more than 30 years of professional experience, as well as the owner of the brand of the same name and CEO of the Wine Global Aspect group, has been dedicated to the world of wine and the constant deepening of specific knowledge of the Italian wine and food terroir for almost 15 years.

Now in its 6th edition, the event is expanding by creating a new format still focused on B2B but finally also focusing on Italy. Vino al Vino is born, aimed at Italian buyers and the national territory with the doors open to final consumers.
Palazzo Serbelloni, for years the most sought-after venue in Milan, has been selected for this edition. Its halls host art exhibitions, conferences, fashion shows, events by major brands such as 𝐀𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐬𝐤𝐢, 𝐄𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨 𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐨, 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢, 𝐌𝐚𝐱 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚, and others.

Palazzo Serbelloni will be the place for interconnections between Italian wineries, consortia and buyers, the public and, as always, the best of foreign key players from all over the world such as Japan, Hong Kong, USA, Mexico, Canada, Russia, Great Britain, Switzerland and other European nations (including those from the East).

From 23rd to 25th October 2022, this scenario properly representative of Italian heritage will be transformed into the ideal and concrete bridge for Italy (B2B & B2C) and between Italy and the key markets of Italian wine in the world (B2B).
Two distinct moments will therefore be created to ensure focused and specialised appointments on different territories.

Italian Taste Summit, on 23 and 24 October, specialises in B2B to establish relationships with foreign countries. It will feature:
●80 wineries in the export space
●30 wineries in the Italy space
●40 journalists from the main Italian and foreign publications
●other trade operators and companies from sectors related to the wine world
●the Gala Dinner Party at this sixth edition is hosted by the Academy of a three-starred chef in Italy and multi-starred in the world. The dinner will involve companies focusing on brand visibility.

Vino al Vino with a focus on B2B and B2C ITALIA to deepen relations in Italy, will take place on 25 October, again at Palazzo Serbelloni. The Vino al Vino format will consist of the following appointments:
●Business B2B meetings with 40 Italian buyers
●Masterclasses and tastings with international critics and journalists from leading Italian wine and lifestyle publications
●Masterclasses and thematic tastings dedicated to the public
●Walk-around tastings for consumers
Italian Taste Summit and Vino al Vino are 2 formats, 2 separate events, independent in terms of organisational and fiscal management.
Another new feature of the next event is the inclusion, no longer symbolic, of the Nobili Terrae Award.
It is an award structured in today’s marketing key, strongly identifying and commercial at the same time, given the involvement in the Jury of buyers as well as leading professional members of the Technical-Scientific Committee born spontaneously during the previous edition held at Masi Agricola

OccasionItalian Taste Summit is an important opportunity to convey the identity values of the companies participating in the event, and to initiate strategic collaborations with the business and communication worlds.
Why is this business export event successful?
One of the keys to the success of 𝐈𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 is the presence, year after year, of a growing number of #buyers and 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐨.
#80 wine importers and distributors from over twenty countries, including 𝐒𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢, 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐚, 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐨, 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞, 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚, 𝐆𝐢𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐊𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐤𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧, 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚, 𝐈𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐞𝐥𝐞, 𝐎𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚, 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚, 𝐔𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚, 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚, 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐚, 𝐔𝐤, 𝐈𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚, 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐚.
THE MISSION
To initiate relationships between wineries representing high value terroir of origin and importers, critics and journalists from multiple countries and continents.
To organise appointments and wide-ranging in-depth discussions.
The locations chosen to develop the business projects and events are refined and intrinsically Italian in style, located on historic, evocative territories that are suitable places for appropriate hospitality and the identity expression of the wineries involved from all over Italy.
Through her experience in the field of internationalisation and the transparency of logistical processes, Joanna Miro and all her staff are able to professionally support participants in optimising the achievement of their goals.
